Double French Horn – Made in Germany (Geyer Wrap, Unlacquered)
It is an instrument from the 1980s, manufactured in East Germany (GDR) by the highly regarded Meister Hans Hoyer workshop.
It has been used and maintained by professional orchestras in Ukraine and features a few preventative patches.
Despite the natural loss of compression over its 40+ years of use, the instrument boasts excellent sound quality.
The valves are very light and silent—features that young students will appreciate. It is important to use a mouthpiece with a European shank.
