For sale is a rare Akai Professional S5000 MIDI Stereo Digital Sampler Rack. This one came to us brand new in box, never opened and never used. From original owner's private smoke free home, he purchased a number of items with plans to set up a studio for recording but never completed the project, and it sat in the original box all these years. We did take it out to test it and make sure it's working as it should. It's 100% fully functional and in near mint shape. The only very minor signs of wear are some small scruffs on the bottom side. It includes the original box/contents. If you've been looking to get one of these new in box, this may be your last chance. We listed the condition as used and not new because this unit is still 20+ years old and not being sold new as an authorized dealer. OS version 2.00, with memory upgraded to 256Mb (4x64Mb). It also includes a digital audio expansion and some floppy disks. The battery is good. The unit even still has the original factory plastic on the top surface, waiting to be peeled off by the new owner. The only issue we noticed is the original rubber on the data wheel was degraded and sticky, so we removed / cleaned the stickiness with denature alcohol.
