The original packaging has only been opened to verify its contents, and the condition of the equalizer. The EQP-A has never been used and only removed from the shipping packaging as mentioned previously to check the integrity of the unit then again for the taking of the pictures needed for this listing. The EQP-A is a zero-compromise recreation of the classic 1950s EQP tube equalizer, known for imparting a uniquely electric, silky sheen and thundering, tight low end to countless recordings from the 1950s through the current day. Featuring custom-wound inductors, transformers, and a full complement of NOS tubes, the EQP-A is as close as you can get to an original unit without paying vintage prices!
