1997 ProCo Roadkill Distortion Unit in good condition, works great, light scratches as pictured. This was ProCo's modified version of a RAT (complete with the "magical" LM308 chip) made exclusively for Guitar Center in the mid-nineties. Same exact pedal as the ProCo BRAT from the same era (the underside of the circuit board actually says "ProCo BRAT" along with "1996" "Determination" "Follow Your Dreams" and other weird inspirational words printed on the board. The nineties were clearly full of hope, I guess).

Though I am the original owner, I was not cool enough in the 90s to remember to keep the box. The unit has been converted from the original 9V battery operation to standard 9V DC (negative center power, not included) (installed power jack can be seen on pictures 9-11). Like most of these, battery cover is long gone, artfully replaced with more black plastic (pictured).

In addition to the DC jack install, the original soft touch footswitch has been replaced with a new soft touch footswitch (pictured front and back) that is the same size and function as the original failed part. The outer left (output) jack nut has been replaced (inner jacks are all original, only outer nut replaced).

- "Headlights," Screech," and "Splatter" knobs are silly 90's names for Volume, Tone and Distortion (respectively)

- Powered by 9V DC negative center power

- Footswitch and Left (Output) jack nut have been replaced. Rest of pedal is original.

- Does not include original box, battery door, or actual road kill.
