Up for grabs is a gorgeous, early 1970s Rogers Powertone 12x8" rack tom in the highly desirable and iconic Blue Onyx wrap. If you are looking to complete a vintage Rogers kit or add a killer-sounding tom to your studio arsenal, this is the one. This drum features the legendary Rogers build quality and delivers that classic, warm, punchy tone with incredible resonance and a wide tuning range.

The Details:

• Size: 12" Diameter x 8" Deep
• Finish: Original Blue Onyx. The wrap is vibrant with incredible depth, showing only minor, typical light swirling/surface wear expected from a 50+ year-old instrument. No major splits or lifting.
• Shell & Interiors: Clean speckled gray interior paint, characteristic of the early 70s Powertone era. The bearing edges are original and in excellent shape.
• Hardware: Comes equipped with original Rogers Swiv-O-Matic mount, hoops, and lugs. The chrome shows some light pitting/aging but polishes up beautifully and is fully functional.
• Heads: Ready to play coated ambassador on batter side, clear Ludwig on resonant.
