2001 PRS Singlecut Goldtop – Original "Pre-Lawsuit" Run

A piece of PRS history: this Singlecut was built in September 2001, right in the middle of the original production run that predates the Gibson injunction (2004) which temporarily pulled the Singlecut off the market before PRS won on appeal and resumed production in 2006. Finished in a rare Goldtop over mahogany/maple construction, this one is completely original and hard to find in this configuration today. There's some natural blushing in the clear coat, but no cracking, so it's purely cosmetic and hasn't penetrated the wood.

Neck width/depth (12th fret): ~2.10" wide, ~0.97" deep
Pickups: PRS #7 humbuckers (treble/bass), original factory-installed
Electronics: 2 volume, 2 tone controls, 3-way toggle switch
Bridge: PRS stoptail wraparound-style adjustable bridge
Tuners: PRS-designed locking tuners
Scale length: 25"
Finish: Goldtop nitrocellulose lacquer
Case: original PRS hardshell case
Case candy: original PRS paperwork (truss rod adjustment instructions, string info card, spec tag)

Be aware that humidity, temperature, and handling can affect guitars such that adjustments to the instrument might be needed post-shipment. 

If tweaking action, intonation, etc. or having the instrument set up to your specs is not something you are comfortable with doing yourself, you will need the help of a local-to-you tech/ professional. Note that any associated fees incurred for their time and labor will be your responsibility.
The item you receive will function as written in the description, include all the parts/accessories as written in the description, and will be the same item that is photographed.

Because I deal with many vintage instruments, there can always be a chance that the playability and cosmetic condition are not exactly what you were hoping for: it is your responsibility to contact me with any questions or concerns before purchasing.

Most of my items have an inspection sheet included with the photos. If I made an error in my description and you are not satisfied with the item, then contact me within 48 hours of receipt and get it back to me 7 days after receipt. You will have to pay for return shipping. If the item is in the same condition that I shipped it in, I will grant you a full refund of the original purchase price only.

I do not give partial refunds: I do my best to describe and photo each item.
