We built these into balanced jack cables for easy patchbay use - and so that you can add clarity either before or after your outboard - be it eq’s - compressors or reverb / time delay effects as well as directly to your audio. Even at low saturation settings you can hear the clarity and focus these guys bring to the proceedings - everything just sounds nicer, more natural and more balanced with a little uplift kiss to the transients. The soundstage reveals itsself in the most pleasant way! The more we push into the diodes (we use Logic’s i/o utility for this) the more 3d and settled things get and you don’t really hear any saturation crush until 4DB where you can just hear the edges getting crispy …. but even at 8DB it’s still musical.
