This is a gorgeous example with the classic late-’70s Tele look, rosewood fingerboard, white pickguard, chrome hardware, and original vintage case with orange/red interior, and an extra bridge.

This Telecaster is all original other than 4 extra holes left from a locking nut on the front of the headstock (see pics).

Neck stamp dates to 1978.

It has a wonderful, fast, slim neck that feels very comfortable in the hand and makes this guitar extremely easy to play. The original frets show only minimal wear, with plenty of life left.

Cosmetically, the guitar is in FANTASTIC cosmetic condition, especially for its age. The finish remains very clean and vibrant, showing only minor signs of normal handling and age, including a few small dents/marks along the edges and other light cosmetic wear. Nothing major — overall a very impressive and collectible example.

The guitar weighs 8.5 lbs, a nice comfortable weight for a late-’70s Telecaster. It has that unmistakable vintage Tele tone: clear, punchy, articulate, and full of classic Fender character.
