Here we have a beautiful vintage Ludwig 14 x 5 inch jazz festival snare drum.

Keystone badge badge. Serial numbers 247529. Date stamped in the shell January 5, 1966.

Super popular vintage drum that is appreciating annually in value. All original except for the coated batter head. Finished in sought after original gold sparkle silver sparkle, no rewrap.

Excellent original condition from the original owner non smoking owner, always case  kept.

Super clean exterior finish no dents or scratches in the shell, no non original holes and no defects on the wrap. Brilliant sparkle finish that pops with lots of glitter and high gloss shine. No yellowing or fading. When removing the hoops there is no differentiation in color where hoops overlapped the shell finish. Consistent sparkle and color. Wrap seem is tight no lifting.

All chrome hardware is original, no broken or missing parts. Original factory white shell interior. Bearing edges and reinforcement rings in excellent condition, shell is in round. Nice shell interior. Keystone badge and original grommet in superb condition no bends or loose areas.

8 lug drum. Nickel over steel hardware including hoops. Original lugs, P-83 throw off, butt plate and internal white padded muffler with external baseball bat muffler control arm. All components in excellent working order and functioning as designed. Some areas of light surface wear on the hoops and on the throw off.

Fresh Remo ambassador coated batter head, original Ludwig clear head and original Ludwig script logo snare wires. Original strings that tie the wires to the drum.

These vintage jazz festival drums are noted for delivering crisp, woody and resonate tones with excellent tuning and volume ranges. No exception with this drum.
