The Yamaha Revstar Standard RSS20 is a refined evolution of the original Revstar series, built for players who want modern performance, standout style, and versatile tone. Featuring a chambered mahogany body with a maple top, this double-cut guitar offers excellent resonance, reduced weight, and outstanding balance thanks to Yamaha’s Acoustic Design process.

Loaded with Yamaha VH5 humbuckers, the RSS20 delivers a powerful, articulate tone with bright highs, rich mids, and excellent clarity—making it a great fit for a wide range of playing styles. The push-pull Focus Switch adds another layer of versatility, adjusting the guitar’s resonant frequency while boosting output for a more aggressive, dynamic response.

The carbon-reinforced mahogany neck ensures long-term stability and playability, while jumbo stainless steel frets and a 12" radius fingerboard provide a smooth, fast feel across the entire neck.

This item is a B-Stock guitar sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is new and has never been previously owned. The photos shown are of the exact instrument you will receive.

Before shipment, our licensed technician will inspect and professionally set up the guitar to ensure it is playing its best.

During our inspection, we noted an imperfection to the finish on top of the headstock and some discoloration at the heel. (see last three pictures)
