The Wharfedale Diamond 225 is a passive two-way stand-mounted loudspeaker built around a 6.5" woven Kevlar-cone woofer and a 1" cloth-dome tweeter, crossing over at 2.3kHz. The cabinet uses a slot-loaded distributed port that fires downward through a narrow reveal between the cabinet base and its rubber-footed plinth - a design that helps extend bass reach to a quoted 45Hz-20kHz (±3dB) while keeping the footprint compact at 355 × 196 × 262mm. With a nominal 8-ohm impedance and 87dB sensitivity, the Diamond 225 works comfortably with amplifiers rated anywhere between 25 and 120 watts. This pair is finished in Walnut vinyl wrap.
