For sale is an original 1962 Fender Jaguar neck from the coveted pre-CBS era, dated NOV 1, 1962 on the heel. An excellent opportunity to complete a vintage restoration or build with an authentic pre-CBS Fender neck.

Condition

The neck is in very good vintage condition, especially for its age.

• Neck is straight.
• Truss rod functions as it should.
• Finish shows honest vintage wear and a beautiful aged patina.
• Original frets show moderate play wear but still have good life remaining.
• Fingerboard has attractive natural wear consistent with a well-cared-for vintage instrument.

This neck shows light respray on the heel. The original owner highlighted part of the heel date with a sharpie as seen in the pictures, a bit of a bummer but really not an issue for playability or overall vibe.
