This is a born together 1984 Yamaha recording custom . These are noticeably the best sounding era of recording custom shells. More resonance with a little more pop.
Sizes are:
16 x 22 Bass Drum
10 x 10, 10 x 12 mounted Tom’s
12 x 14 and 14 x 16 hanging
All have 2 digit badges starting with K indicating 1984
Overall condition is very good with just some slight pitting on the with a little more cleaning. They should be super nice. Finish is beautiful with more of a brownish red color on these early ones with a furniture grade cherry finish on the inside. Nice clean bearing edges. The bistro has a small scratch on the top, but no Tom rash. Both hanging floors have some scratches from rubbing up against the stand as shown in the pictures.
Comes with the double Tom stand and the double Tom holder
Not shown but also available is an 11 x 13 matching tom that is original to the set. Buyer has the option of adding it to the set for $325.
