The Carr Skylark is what happens when vintage inspiration meets modern innovation. Rooted in the classic tones of the late-'50s tweed Harvard and Deluxe, and the '60s blackpanel Princeton Reverb, the Skylark channels that rich, expressive sound - then takes it to the next level with features that bring 21st-century usability and flexibility to the table.

At its core, the Skylark is powered by a pair of 6V6GT tubes pushing 12 watts - perfect for capturing those sought-after vintage tones at manageable volumes. But here’s where it really shines: a Hi/Low gain switch and built-in attenuator let you control output and breakup, making it easy to dial in everything from sparkling cleans to saturated overdrive. And with an expanded tone stack that includes a responsive Mid control and an extended Presence range, the Skylark bridges the gap between classic tweed sweetness and blackpanel clarity, giving you an amp that’s ready for any setting.

Carr’s legendary tube-driven spring reverb rounds out the tonal palette with lush, dimensional ambience. Everything is housed in a resonant cabinet made from solid North Carolina yellow pine, featuring a floating baffle for added responsiveness and sustain. Like every Carr amp, the Skylark is built using the finest components available - military-grade power supply parts, premium capacitors and resistors - meticulously point-to-point wired to ensure both sonic purity and reliability.
