Original model with 27 chord types. Works well. No scratchy knobs. All buttons, knobs, strumplate, speaker and output jack work. Tested (on 8 "C" batteries and AC adapter). Has scuffs and scratches (mostly on the bottom). Battery compartment is super clean. No signs of battery leakage. Battery springs are shiny. Foam padding is still in battery door and battery pulling ribbon is still there.

This musical relic is the rarer, simpler, more limited, original, Mk1 version with brown plastic, rough strumplate and bump next to strumplate. Unlike subsequent models, you can combine rhythms by pressing multiple buttons at the same time. The output jack is mono. If you insert an instrument cable in the output jack, it does not defeat the internal speakers (like on the OM-27 Mk 2 and other Omnichords). There is no mechanism in the original output jack to disconnect the speaker. Also, the strumplate on the Mk1 is monophonic. If you touch two sections of the strumplate at once, you hear no sound. The knobs are serrated, full-circle, so it's harder to line up the mark on the top. There's no hole in bottom to access the tuning pot. You have to remove the bottom to tune it.
