Here’s a clean, original 1970s Pignose Model 7-100 portable guitar amplifier made in Los Angeles, California. These early USA-made Pignose amps have become highly collectible for their iconic overdriven sound and portable suitcase-style design.
This example is in exceptionally nice cosmetic condition for its age, retaining its original brown covering, metal corner protectors, blue Pignose grille badge, battery compartment, and original factory Model 7-203 AC adapter.
The amp has been fully tested and sounds excellent. It delivers the classic gritty Pignose tone these amps are famous for. The volume control produces a slight scratchiness while being turned (common for vintage electronics), but once set, the amp operates quietly with strong output.
