This is a Fender Japan STR-135RK SWS, the Richie Kotzen Signature model.
The serial number is “Made in Japan” with an N + 6-digit serial number, which indicates it was made around 1993–1994.
Examples from this period do not come up very often, so if you have been looking for one, please consider it while it is available.
BODY: Lightweight Ash with Laminated Flame Maple Cap
NECK: Maple, Satin Mat, 324 Scale
FRETBOARD: Maple One Piece, 305R
Weight: approx. 4.1 kg.
As you can see, this guitar shows heavy signs of use and has age-appropriate scratches and wear. There is also finish discoloration and deterioration of the hardware/parts. The frets show wear, but there is currently no choking or dead notes.
The front and bridge pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncan pickups. I believe the center pickup is original. The wiring is a bit messy, but the guitar currently produces sound properly, and the selector switch works without issue.
However, due to the overall condition and modifications, please consider this guitar to be sold as-is.
Accessories include a Fender soft case and tremolo arm.
Please note that this is a used item.
There are no issues with its current functionality, but please understand that you may need to make further adjustments after purchase to suit your preferences.
Be sure to review the photos and description carefully before placing a bid.
