1957 Selmer Mark VI Tenor Saxophone- Original 67,xxx w/ Premium Overhaul!
Today we are offering an absolutely killing original, 1957 Selmer mark vi tenor Saxophone! This one just has that look of a well lived & loved player! It just has that look of a horn that you know is gonna sound incredible! If only these horns could talk.. I bet this one would have some stories to tell! This horn used to belong to the mouthpiece legend, Ralph Morgan. Most of the lacquer has naturally worn off but about 30% of the original finish remains. This horn has recently underwent a premium overhaul and will need nothing for years to come! These earlier 5 digit horns are really the perfect balance between the lyrical playability of an SBA combined with the modern mark vi projection. The way it blows, reminds me a lot of an SBA (which is my favorite Selmer sound of all time) the neck is Oriognal with match serial number and the sax comes with its original case. The zipper is broken on the case but it’s nice to have everything original! This is an absolute monster if a player and certainly a horn that you will never want to put down!
