Original Custom Soldano 2x12 Oversize Open Back UNLOADED Speaker Cabinet. Very rare and hard to find. Original owner since early 2000's. Excellent well-cared for condition! This was built back when Mike Soldano and Bill Sundt had the shop in Seattle.
Cabinet has never been gigged. A few minor imperfections from moving around the studio. Cabinet is being offered un-loaded (no speakers included) so new owner can add speakers of choice. Speaker wiring / input jack is included. This cabinet produces a very 3D blooming tone yet is tight. Sounds great with various Celestion configurations.
Thought I'd never let this go, however am reducing to 1x12 cabinets/combos to make space in a small studio.
This custom Soldano OS 2x12 is very rare. Only the short, closed back version is currently being offered.
A good friend has always admired the tone of this oversize cab so he bought a new Soldano 2x12, removed the Vint 30s, added older Greenbacks and converted it to open back config. When doing a side-by-side comparison, this larger cabinet just sounds better, more robust, detailed and 3D.
