This is my favorite small preamp of all time. For any podcaster or really other purpose, especially if you use a shure sm7b this is for you. It just sounds so amazing and gives you so much clean gain.

This unit might have some scratches and some rack rash but I spent several hours testing it and it sounds perfectly clean. I tested every input and output. And then I disassembled it and under the chassis it looks like brand new. They really know how to build things. I even unsoldered the power board from the main board and tested the sound quality while it was hooked to my bench power and compared it to the internal power board to see if it was starting to go but I couldnt hear any difference. It just sounds so good.

I also deoxized all the inputs and outputs and cleaned the chassis as best I could. It is now ready for another decade of hard use and abuse.
