The Lovepedal Tchula Gold is a highly sought-after, two-stage overdrive/boost pedal custom-tuned by Lovepedal for renowned guitarist Josh Smith. Acting effectively as two "Church of Tone" (COT 50) circuits in a single enclosure, it provides a highly dynamic, touch-sensitive, late-'60s Plexi-style response.
The left side is tuned to gain at 11 o’clock on the Church of Tone pedal. You cannot change the gain on the left side. The right side adds to the left, and is tuned for the knob (all the way down) to start at 11 o’clock gain and up from there. Lots of added boost and color.
