Harmony H425 Batwing Mandolin, made in the late 1960’s / early 1970’s.  Not sure of the exact year, I don’t see a year stamp, just the 3440H425 stamp (pictured). It’s missing the pickguard and bridge cover, it has many scratches and scrapes, the finish on the back of the neck is largely worn off, it’s been played a lot. But it’s a solid instrument.  Somebody did a nice job adding a pickup to it, you can see the wire to the bridge and the jack next to the endpin.  Plays really well, the neck is straight, frets are in decent shape, and it sounds clear and loud. The pickup works and it holds tuning well. Comes with a nice newer $100 Guardian case.
