At its heart is a Chimera-based 12AX7 preamp, running at full voltage for the dynamic response and harmonic depth Benson amps are known for. It’s paired with a Class-D power section that doubles the output of the original Milkman “The Amp” so you can easily drive your favorite cabinet with up to 100 watts @ 8 ohms, or 200 watt @ 4 ohms.

With the Output high and Volume below Noon, you’ll get clean headroom,  a perfect pedal platform. Engage the footswitchable op-amp boost, and the tube preamp reacts like a cranked Benson amp; smooth, saturated, and beautifully touch-sensitive.

There’s a DSP spring reverb for vintage-style ambience, and a Room control that adds early reflections for a more lively and realistic direct sound. For quieter setups, use the analog cab sim on the XLR out or the headphone output, or run Pedal Out as a dedicated tube preamp.

Built with the same high-quality, low-noise design Benson and Milkman are known for, The Amp makes maintenance easy, just remove the side wood panel to swap the single 12AX7, just like the original version.
