The LTD Gary Holt GH-600 from ESP is an axe forged from the molten iron of the metal gods' furnace. As the lead guitarist for Slayer since 2013, Gary Holt worked in conjunction with ESP to bring you an instrument that truly encompasses the design, craftsmanship, and appointments that have made ESP guitars a respected name in metal and hard rock. With an all-mahogany body and mahogany set-neck, the GH-600 is absolutely built for tone and searing sustain. A pair of EMG humbuckers with 3-way pickup selector and push/pull knob for coil split gives you all the options for shaping killer metal and hard rock tone. And of course, a Floyd Rose bridge is on hand for exploring endless pitch effects.

The LTD Gary Holt GH-600 comes equipped with a red EMG 89R humbucker in the neck position, voiced for classic-thick tone. It's a great pickup for a warmer tone that remains articulate and defined. The red EMG 81 at the bridge position gives you the classic EMG sound — detailed and aggressive, with rich sustain. Between these two pickups, you'll cover the sonic range from mellow to maniacal.

Nothing screams hard rock like ESP's timeless Eclipse body style. The extra mass of this single-cutaway design gives the LTD GH-600 Gary Holt guitar truly epic sustain, whereas its slightly arched top provides you with comfortable hand positioning, no matter your picking style. Add to that a super-sharp cutaway, which gives you open access to the guitar's upper frets, and you're ready to shred.

The LTD GH-600 Gary Holt comes equipped with a real Floyd Rose tremolo bridge — a favorite of metal players here at Sweetwater. A remake of the original Floyd Rose blade tremolo, this incredible bridge lets you grab on, rock out, and never worry about your tuning.
