Rare, Vintage (1971) Hammond X66 with 2 Matching tone cabinets, 7-pin speaker cables, pedals and bench. New 7-pin cable designed to use the X66 console without the Hammond Speaker Cabinets by plugging the console into a mixer and running the sound through active speakers.

The cabinetry of the speakers and the console has been refurbished. The bench has been completely restored - although I would recommend putting a new veneer on the top of the bench. The bench pad shown in the pictures comes with the instrument.

The X66 has been 75% restored. The instrument plays - although there are some issues which are beyond my capability to fix. I am including a printed copy of the Hammond X66 tech manual in order for the next owner of this beautiful instrument to have an electronics expert go through the electronics and complete the restoration. In addition, the two speaker cabinets MUST HAVE THE AMPS REBUILT prior to using them. The capacitors are old and volatile - an amplifier tech used to working on analog amps will be able to repair and rebuild the amps. All parts inside the console were off-the-shelf in 1971 and non-proprietary to Hammond.

Lastly, the pedal drawbars need to have the drawbar channels tightened. I could never figure out how to get into the drawbar assemble to tighten the last 5 screws of the rebuild.

The console has been serviced and Hammond Oil placed into all ports of the two units which require oil. With some minor work, this instrument is ready to provide another 50 years of beautiful music.
