Howdy, this is an Oct 1969 SVT head blueline unmodified so it has 6146 power tubes included is a spare sextet in addition to what is in the amp. Serial #090518 squareback 810 (4pin input type) included. NAMM 1969 brought us the gold standard of Bass ampage and then Ampeg made 5 more SVTs that year which ended up all going on tour w the Rolling Stones all the way to Altimont as they were already fans of the Ampeg b15 and for their winter 1969 tour their UK amps voltages were not switched over so they blew em up stateside and Ampeg bailed em out (see Ampeg Book it's a MUST read)

ALL SVTs from 69 except the namm one went out w RS at least two of the five have been modded to 1/4" output or 6550. This spent the 70's as backline for MSG and was purchased from the son of the Madison Square Garden equipment manager about 16 years ago I purchased the head and the squareback 4pin 810 from NJ ampking3000 with that huge buy a year and a half ago that "if I win the lottery there will be signs" all that has been sold off except these two pieces which I was hoping to keep but I am recovering from rotator cuff surgery. You can test it in person at the used store in Beltsville MD where I used to work but all payment etc will be through reverb. The og cabs you need two but I only am selling the 810 i have my other 4ohm(412) is staying here so to test Atomic has several 4ohm 810/215etc you can try with it. I know most folks want to use one neo cab which was my plan when I am playing again but the speakers as made by ampeg in this set up you need two but if you are reading this far you already knew that. It has never been played in my possession without the 4pin connected. I dont need two SVT heads so you win! I want buyer to have no pressure if you dont like it so delivery is not an option try b4 you buy. when I first got this I was like 1st year one of 5 production(+1namm) and guaranteed RS connection hmmmmm I want $7999 but when I see a converted to 6550 1969 going for $3999 12 years ago I figure in 2026 $5k w a cab is OK if you dont want the cab we can work w Reverb to just do the head but again I am not shipping I follow the Neurosis crew SVT motto of "one person carry" this was handled with care and always will be. I have folks that will help me load if you buy this before I heal up.

I figure if you wanna reamp someone's track through this and send it back that would be worth the price of admission pretty quick.

Little tear and the feet are beat.

Cab exposed on one side from being slid cab is solid but the spots where feets are and would be could be better will knock off $750 if you don't want cab.

I can answer any and all questions and will add more info i know a lot of yall from forums but I am only doing this through reverb cause if I were the buyer thats what I would want if I was buying a unicorn.
