Hi folks, thank you for visiting. I'm Dale, 2015 I have been making handmade cigar box guitars, ukuleles and starting in 2021 wine and cigar box amplifiers, from the cutting and shaping of the necks to the fret work and electronics. It is all done by me. I feel that the quality of the fret work is the most important part of the play ability of the instrument and I strive to make it right. The looks are secondary especially when using recycled boxes, the little imperfections gives them uniqueness and character. I offer a quality product at a reasonable price.

The Tabernacle is more than a cigar, it’s a tribute to heritage, faith, and tradition. The box art tells the story behind its name, featuring Haile Selassie, the 225th King of Abyssinia (modern-day Ethiopia). His royal lineage traces directly to King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba, a connection deeply woven into history. The name Tabernacle is inspired by the sacred dwelling of Hebrew scripture, the revered sanctuary that housed the Ark of the Covenant before the construction of Solomon’s Temple.
