For sale is a 15” Istanbul K Zildjian crash cymbal. 944 grams. The stamp is either Old Stamp IIIb (1953-1956) or Old Stamp IIIc (1956-57) - I can’t tell. The top has a brilliant finish and the bottom has a traditional finish.
It has two cracks at the hole. The larger one is about 1/2” long and the smaller one is about 1/8”. The center hole isn’t perfectly round and it’s the small vintage hole; it’ll work with a 6mm shaft but not an 8mm. Also, there are many small edge dings and the edge isn’t perfectly flat. Please see the photos.
Still, it sounds great with no rattles or noise due to the cracks. Install a grommet and the cracks may not grow.
Good condition according to Reverb’s guidelines (Items with dents, cracks, or corrosion qualify as Good as long as they are still playable and fully functional).
If you make an offer, I will either accept or decline. I don’t haggle. Also, please tell me your zip code.
