1939 Leedy Broadway 14x7 Snare Drum. Owned by Mouseketeer Cubby O'Brien

A rare opportunity for drum collectors and Mickey Mouse Club fans alike. This vintage 1939 Leedy Broadway Parallel 14"x7" snare drum comes from the personal collection of original Mouseketeer and legendary drummer Cubby O'Brien.

Featuring a 3-ply maple shell with reinforcement rings, White Marine Pearl wrap, and nickel hardware, this drum remains remarkably original with all components intact except for the heads. The parallel throw-off and internal muffler function perfectly, and the shell is stamped "3906" internally. Includes a signed drum head from Cubby O'Brien.

Beyond his time on The Mickey Mouse Club, Cubby performed with artists including The Carpenters, Olivia Newton-John, Bernadette Peters, Peter Allen, and many Broadway productions. Provenance like this is exceptionally difficult to find, making this an outstanding addition to any vintage drum or Disney memorabilia collection.

Cosmetic notes include a small wrap gap and a slightly out-of-round bottom hoop, both pictured.
