The revolutionary Ortega TourPlayer allows you to experience the warm resonance of nylon strings in an electric guitar. Meticulously crafted for live performance, this innovative crossover guitar eliminates the feedback issues inherent in amplified nylon-string guitars so you can explore a world of new sounds.

Hollow Body for Full Resonance

The TourPlayer's Okoume body features hollow chambers that reduce weight while improving resonance for a rich, expressive tone. Combined with a spruce top, the hollow build produces the depth and projection of an acoustic guitar with the power of an electric.

Comfortable Playability

With its rounded D neck, Indian laurel fingerboard and narrow 48mm nut, the TourPlayer plays fast and easy like a steel-string guitar. The 14th-fret joint provides comfortable access to higher frets. Whether fingerpicking complex chords or shredding lightning-fast solos, this guitar handles anything your musical imagination can dream up.

Shape Your Sound

The Ortega MagusX/G preamp system puts you in complete control of your sound. With volume, bass, middle and treble controls, plus a built-in tuner, you can craft your tone to suit any musical style. The piezo pickups capture the TourPlayer's resonant acoustic qualities and blend beautifully with its electronic voice for a fusion of sounds never before possible on a nylon-string guitar.
