Gretsch USA Custom 14x5 Maple Snare Drum – Stop Sign Badge – Die-Cast Hoops – Vintage 70s/80s

For sale is a vintage Gretsch USA Custom Maple snare drum from the late 1970s to early 1980s, featuring the classic stop-sign badge and the legendary “That Great Gretsch Sound.”

This drum features Gretsch's sought-after 6-ply maple/gum shell construction with die-cast hoops, producing the warm, focused, and articulate tone that made these drums a studio and jazz favorite.

As with any vintage drum, routine maintenance such as lubricating tension rods and lug inserts with white lithium grease is recommended. Snare wires are not currently installed on this drum. You will need to install your own snare drum wires!

• Snare wires are currently missing, but any standard 14" snare wire set can be installed in minutes
