BadCat Era 1x12 60 Watt Cabinet 8 Ohms 2025 w/ Cover Near Mint - Black

Bad Cat's Era 1x12 cabinet is loaded with a BadCat Custom Celestion 12" speaker — a purpose-built driver voiced to complement Bad Cat's amplifier designs. The 60-watt, 8-ohm rating makes it a natural match for Bad Cat heads and a capable partner for a range of other low-to-medium wattage tube heads. The closed-back 1x12 format delivers focused, tight low end with a compact footprint. This example is in excellent condition overall, with the covering, grille, baffle, and speaker all rating near mint.

Bad Cat Amplifier Company has built a reputation for boutique-quality tube amplifiers and supporting gear since the late 1990s. Their extension cabinets are built to the same standard as their heads — solid construction, quality covering, and premium speaker selection. The Era cabinet is part of their current lineup, designed to pair with their Era head. The black tolex covering, black weave grille, and leather handle are all original. The 2025 date on this unit means it has seen very little use. Bad Cat cabinets don't show up used often, and when they do, they're typically in the kind of shape this one is in.

We have no issues to report on this cabinet. Covering, grille, baffle, and speaker are all near mint. No repairs, no modifications, no non-original components. A BadCat cover is included and is also in near mint condition.

Amplifiers: We take additional precautions to prevent common shipping damage. Depending on the amp, this may include removing tubes, pulling the chassis from the cabinet if heavy transformers present a drop risk, or removing heavy speakers that could crack baffles in transit. Reassembly is required on delivery — we label everything clearly. These measures add to shipping costs but reflect hard-won experience. Vintage amplifiers (20 years or older) are sold as-is — all amps are tested in our shop upon intake and again before shipping. We cover shipping damage but cannot be responsible for the failure of vintage components in instruments that are 20 to 50-plus years old.
