The Stingray is a model beloved by numerous renowned musicians, including Mr. Free and Mr. Louis Johnson, and is often the object of admiration.

From its debut in the 1970s to the present day, it has been an indispensable staple in the music industry, ranking alongside the Jazz Bass and Precision Bass as a classic model.

The model we have in stock this time is the Stingray “Special.” This instrument features a sound that leans more toward the modern than the classic.

It features a roasted maple neck and a roasted maple fingerboard, and is equipped with an original 3-band EQ preamp.

While it truly shines during slap and technical playing, it is also well-suited for basic playing styles and adapts to a wide range of situations.

With a 34-inch scale length similar to the 4-string model and a relatively slim 44mm nut width, it offers excellent playability.

While the 4-string Stingray model is extremely popular, demand for the 5-string model is gradually increasing, partly because it is favored by many professional musicians.
