Getting started on ukulele should feel easy and inviting, and the Cordoba 15C concert ukulele is built with that exact goal in mind. Crafted with a mahogany top, back, sides and neck, it delivers a clear, lively tone with a warm character that supports both solo practice and group playing. The concert body size adds a touch more room and volume without sacrificing comfort, while a 14.75" scale length, smooth rosewood fingerboard and narrow-medium frets make chords come together naturally for beginners. Finished with Aquila New Nylgut strings and stable open-gear tuners, the 15C arrives ready to play and stays in tune as skills develop, making it a dependable first ukulele for home, classroom or casual jams.

Mahogany Construction With Clear, Lively Tone

Mahogany is used throughout the body and neck of the 15C, producing a balanced sound that blends warmth with brightness. Sitka spruce top bracing improves projection and note definition, helping chords speak clearly even in busy environments like classrooms or group lessons. This tonal balance allows new players to hear progress quickly, making practice more engaging and rewarding.

Concert Size That Feels Comfortable and Approachable

The concert body size offers slightly more space and volume than a soprano ukulele while remaining easy to hold and play. With 14 frets to the body and a total of 18 frets, the 15C provides room to explore melodies and simple lead lines without feeling intimidating. Lastly, the smooth rosewood fingerboard and narrow-medium frets support clean chord transitions and comfortable finger placement for developing technique.

Stable Tuning and Ready-to-Play Setup

Cordoba open-gear tuners allow for quick, accurate tuning adjustments, while a composite nut and saddle help maintain consistent string spacing and intonation. Plus, this uke comes strung with Aquila New Nylgut concert strings, known for their comfortable feel and dependable tone, so players can begin playing right away without additional setup or upgrades.

Durable Build for Everyday Learning and Practice

Designed to handle frequent use, the Cordoba 15C features a durable gloss finish, reinforced body binding and a stable mahogany neck joined with a dowel joint. Pearloid position markers help guide new players along the fingerboard, while the overall construction supports long-term playability. For students and beginners looking for a reliable instrument, the Cordoba 15C concert ukulele is an inviting place to start.
