Offered is an Eastman E20D acoustic-electric six string guitar. ThE20D is made by hand in Peking, China. When I first heard about Eastman I thought it would be your typical China made acoustic guitar, built cheaply, assembled cheaply, and sold cheaply. I WAS SO WRONG! After doing some time consuming research I found out that each guitar is hand crafted by true guitar makers in Peking. I also learned that the guitar is built like a Martin 1937 VTS model built today. The guitar has a Thermo-cured Adirondack spruce top offerring clean sound with plenty of definition and loads of headroom, which are supported masterfully by the deep, reverberant tone of its rosewood back and sides. And, thanks to hand-carved scalloped "X" bracing, your playing will benefit from extra resonance, volume, and sustain.  Traditional Even C-shaped neck, which is topped by a smooth ebony fingerboard. Truetone gloss finish, classic-style rosette, herringbone trim, pearl and abalone inlays. An ebony bridge with a bone saddle and ebony bridge pins round out this impressive, handbuilt instrument.

It includes the OHSC plush lined with accessory pocket. I am also including the original certificate of authenticity showing the guitars crafted build date.

There are minor pick ware marks that could be covered with a pick guard. There is a very small nick on the left shoulder (facing guitar) all of which were done by the previous owner. I literally just bought the guitar (February 20, 2026). The previous owner decided not to put on the pick guitar as it does impact the natural ability of the top to vibrate, impairing the tone. I agreed with this decision as pick guards can do that on acoustic guitars. When you're playing, you don't notice the pick wear. If it bothers you, buy a pick guard. I encourage you not to do it. See last two pics.

I had installed an Anthem style acoustic pickup. It has a mic and under bridge pickup. You can see the controls in the sound hole. There's a separate volume for each pickup (mic & under bridge). The mic is a bit weak, but the under saddle is tremendous. Great volume and tone. Do Note, it's not an R L Bragg anthem pickup. It's a less expensive copy. Works great.

I will ship to lower 48 states only. If you have questions, please ask. Shipping cost is determined based on location. Thanks for looking, Phils Gear.

So if it's such a great guitar why am I selling it? I'm the 12 string player in my Worship Team at church. Someone bumped my guitar on its stand and the neck broke. It's a Martin 12 string. They're broke, a family man with six kids. I don't have the heart to ask him to pay for it.
