Tycoon Percussion Are proud to introduce a new line of Djembes featuring shells made purely of fibreglass. Staying true to our commitment to a green manufacturing philosophy, we have completely eliminated any waste from the manufacturing pf these djembe shells by undergoing a 100% handmade approach. We hand brush layer upon layer of the fibreglass resins into a room temperature mold, which results in zero harmful emissions, unlike those that are caused by hot fibreglass injection processes. While this is a painstaking process (it takes roughly 50 times longer to create a djembe shell using out hand made approach), we always do everything in our power to be as environmentally friendly as possible at all times. The new Star Glass Djembes are available in three sizes - 8", 10", 12" and seven different finishes. This particular model is in the MA finish. Each Djembe is fitted with hand picked natural goat skin head which generates deep, loud bass tones and sharp slap notes. Perfect for any musical situation. MADE WITH HEART. PLAYED WITH HEART.
