The Austrian Audio Hi-X65 is an open-back over-ear headphone aimed at mixing and mastering. The open design and Hi-X drivers create a natural, spacious image so you can place elements and judge depth with less of the boxed-in feel closed headphones can add. Designed, engineered, and manufactured in Austria.

Open-Back Reference Listening

Use the Hi-X65 when isolation is not the priority and accuracy of image and tone is. Soft memory-foam pads, solid metal hardware, and a comfortable clamp make long critical-listening sessions realistic. They are also a strong choice for audiophile listening of finished mixes.

Cables and Adapter

Two detachable cables (3 m and 1.2 m) plus a 3.5 mm to 6.3 mm adapter cover console and desktop use. Because the backs are open, they are not ideal for tracking where bleed matters.
