Roger Giffin Custom one off late 70s vintage strat

I'm finally selling my vintage Giffin strat after 42 years of careful ownership!

 It’s a late 70s one off custom made strat by Roger which I bought used in 1984. It has a beautiful flamed maple neck with rosewood fretboard and I believe, a walnut body. It has 3 active EMG pickups with adjustable mid boost on the lower tone control. It has a 5 way switch for all the strat options and sounds incredible!

Roger Giffin is an English luthier, sometimes referred to as "guitarmaker to the stars". Notable guitarists who play his instruments include Eric Clapton, Pete Townshend, John Entwistle, Mark Knopfler, and David Gilmour. Giffin ran the Gibson Custom Shop for a while; one of the more notable guitars he built there was a copy of Jimmy Page's "No. 2", the basis for the Jimmy Page Signature model Les Pauls in the mid-1990s.

It has had one re-fret and a replacement Callaham bridge and sperzel locking tuners. All work was done by guitar tech to the stars, Charlie Chandler of Chandler guitars [now Charlie Chandler’s Guitar experience]
