For sale: 2019 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul '58 Junior Double Cut.

In excellent condition, it features a nice chunky '58 style neck and a single powerful P90. In factory condition with original case, it has a one piece mahogany body as the originals have and is an excellent reproduction of a vintage '58 Junior double cut in every way!
Included is the original case, case candy and COA.

I replaced the 2 potentiometers with a 500k SVT volume and a TVT tone from Crazyparts. The stock volume had a notch in it between 9 and 10 and it also only really was effective between 10 and 7, so not ideal for a single pickup guitar like this. The SVT purports to have a 'soft vintage taper' and indeed, it rolls off evenly to allow the range to be spread across the travel.

I can see only one tiny ding and I remember it well as I did it! Otherwise it is in really excellent shape and has the sustain of a good Junior with the surprising flexibility of the single P90 and those 2 important volume and tone controls.

It plays great and stays in tune perfectly and even with the original wraparound tailpiece, intonation is spot on and I'm fussy about that!
