Rare Hughes & Kettner Metal Shredder in excellent working condition.
This little unit is part of the late-‘80s / early-‘90s H&K “Sound Machines” series and delivers surprisingly huge high-gain tones from a compact format. It combines real tube preamp saturation with a solid-state power section for tight, aggressive distortion that works great for classic metal, thrash, hard rock, and recording applications.
Despite the name, it can also clean up nicely at lower gain settings and works well as a studio preamp, practice amp, or direct-recording tool.

Condition:
Fully tested and working great. Controls function properly and the unit sounds excellent. Cosmetic condition is very good overall with normal minor signs of age/use visible in photos.

These older Hughes & Kettner micro heads are getting harder to find, especially in clean, fully functional condition.
