the M 611 Niere combines precision engineering and a rare technology of two-way capsule system. Originally developed for broadcast and studio speech applications, it delivers a refined sound and an unusually broad frequency range for its time. studio legend. absolutely stunning microphone with design circuit concept and production quality.

OPTICAL CONDITION
Very Good condition throughout. The body and grille show minimal signs of age, with a clean, even finish. Missing screw - one of three on the mesh ring.

TECHNICAL CONDITION
Fully refurbished and tested.

Internal acoustic foams were replaced with open-cell materials — 60 PPI on the sides and 35 PPI at the front — restoring proper airflow and resonance damping.

The top capsule , replaced with a fitting 17khz piece that features an open back airflow design , allowing bass to go through to the original lower capsule housing .

Electrically sound and performing exactly as intended, with strong, balanced output and natural tone.

BUILD & DESIGN

Sturdy cylindrical metal body in a silver finish, fronted by a precision steel grille. Fitted with a large Tuchel connector.

Capsule: Two-way dynamic pressure-gradient system — two stacked dynamic capsules internally combined for extended bandwidth and directional accuracy. One capsule handles the low/mid region, the other the upper frequencies, achieving a full and well-balanced response up to 17 kHz.

Circuit: Passive dynamic circuit with transformer-balanced output for consistent impedance and low-noise performance. Smartly integrated phase/filter crossed at cutoff point FQ between Upper and lower capsule/ insuring the each only register pre selected bandwidth
