“Tokyo Violin Industrial Factory Tsunoda & Co. Section of Art” was a manufacturer of violins and ukuleles from the 1950s through the 1980s.
This particular instrument is a No. 380 model crafted entirely from solid wood using the finest materials. It bears the maker’s signature, “Y. Tsunoda.”
It is an excellent ukulele that allows you to fully appreciate the resonance of the wood.

Condition
☑ String action is approximately 2.5mm on the 1st string and 2.1mm on the 4th string, making it easy to play.
☑ All positions sound clear with no buzzing or other issues.
☑ The neck is in good condition.
☑ Frets are in good condition and have been polished.
☑ The fingerboard shows some indentations from playing. It has been cleaned and conditioned with orange oil.
☑ The finish shows overall wear. The top has sticker marks and some peeling in places. Sticker marks are also visible on the back of the headstock. There is some weather checking and discoloration. It has been polished to a moderate sheen.
☑ There is a minor crack in the side.
☑ The strings have been replaced with new ones.
☑ The tuning pegs do not move smoothly, but there are no issues with tuning. The bushings are firmly secured, embedded into the wood.
