Up for grabs is a 1940s Harptone Manufactured Case for a Martin Dreadnought Series Guitar. An exceedingly tough find from the Golden Era.

Textured Black Tolex, Green Lining, Eagle Lock Company Latches, and Snap Button Pocket. The Case is in Fair Cosmetic Condition displaying wear and use but is functional. It appears that a previous owner removed the neck rest that would have been at the back of the case pocket. They added a wood block inside the pocket. It appears someone has done some glue work many years ago on some lifting tolex and to secure the interior lining.

We have included a picture of the case with a 1950s D-28 sitting in it for a nice visual. Vintage Martin cases come up for sale from time to time but not very often from this 1940s time period or for the most desirable dreadnought size.
