The G3 V2 is famous for its "mix-ready" voicing. It is a tight, articulate distortion that maintains incredible clarity even when used with low-tuned baritones or complex 7 and 8-string chords. The heart of the pedal is the 3-position Aggression switch. In the Off position, you get a warm, classic high-gain crunch. Move to Blue for a balanced, punchy gain with enhanced clarity, or engage Red for a thick, saturated modern metal "wall of sound" with increased presence and bite.

While it excels as a traditional distortion pedal in front of a clean amp, the G3 V2 is designed to be a complete high-gain solution. Because it is an analog recreation of an actual amplifier channel, it performs exceptionally well as a standalone preamp. Run it directly into your amplifier's effects loop return to bypass your amp's preamp section entirely, or pair it with Two notes Torpedo technology for a professional direct-to-interface recording setup.
