Fender 64 Custom Deluxe Reverb - Excellent Condition

I purchased this recently from a seller who originally bought the amp new in 2023 from Sweetwater. The amp was hardly played over the last few years. I have owned it for only a short while since listing. It has sat unplayed for months. This amp is in truly excellent/near mint condition aside from a few barely noticeable indentations on the top near the handle (see pictures). It even smells new, nice and clean. Amp is 100% stock, no modifications. Serial Lookup dates amp July 2022.

With that being said, the amp has an amazing feel to it. The sound is rich and lush, can’t really describe it, but it is good. Really good. This is hands down one of the best Fenders I have played. It has quite a bit more oomph and low end compared to the Princeton. Very full sounding. 

Please note, this amp gets loud quick. It wakes up at 3 and gets slightly louder from 4-5 before breaking up 6-10. It is possible to dial in bedroom volumes, but this really shines when opened up. I can see this being the perfect gigging amp as it also takes pedals like a champ. The stock Jensen speaker works wonderful here for cleans and dirt/overdrive. No need to go swapping it out. 

Fair warning, there is a slightly apparent hiss that is inherent with the amp design. Many reviews and online demos have mentioned this. It is true. However, after playing a few different Deluxe Reissues, Twin Reverb Reissues, and some handwired boutique Deluxe amps, I am convinced the idle noise on this amp is completely normal. I personally do not notice it while playing. I have recorded the noise for anyone curious as to how loud it really is.

I recently fired this up to check on it after sitting for a few months. The volume pots are slightly scratchy when turning and there is the slightest bit of tube rattle at loud volumes. I added spare tubes to the listing just incase. Overall, this still sounds absolutely wonderful. The speaker is nice and broken in.

This amp was made with the working musician in mind. It roars and has that classic Fender sparkle. I am selling as I do not need this amp, although I am leaning towards keeping it more and more. Currently thinning down the electric guitar gear to the bare minimum. Hopefully someone will enjoy this immensely, it is a beautiful amp!
