Item Description

The DENON DP-57L is a direct-drive turntable released in Japan in 1982, during the "Golden Era" of Japanese audiophile equipment. Although mostly limited to Japan, Denon turntables from this era have a phenomenal reputation worldwide for their high-quality playback performance, especially the stable rotation speed, high SNR, low motor noise, and low wow and flutter. The DP-57L was produced as an improvement to the DP-60, taking some ideas from the excellent DP-100M, such as a purely electronic arm-damping mechanism. Japanese critics have remarked on the stability and robustness of the DP-57L. The “L” signifies that this turntable is fully automatic, and equipped with an auto-lifting arm.

This turntable is in Good condition, with some aging throughout (please see picture), including some scratches and scuffs. The dust cover also has scratches and scuffs. **Does not come with a Cartridge. Overall, the property remains in very beautiful condition.
