Description:

The HAPI Origin Drum comes in deeper meditative scales.  To hear the strength of the lower deep tones, it's recommended covering the bottom of the drum.  Sit the drum on a pillow or play the drum in your closed lap.  This directs the deep bass tones back up through the drum to you.  Great for music therapy, meditation, yoga. Recommended for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players.

The word "pentatonic" comes from the Greek word pente meaning five and tonic meaning tone. It is a musical scale that consists of five notes within one octave. Because of their arrangement, pentatonic scales are often used to introduce beginners to music.
