Amp was originally purchased from the UK and subsequently set up for US voltage usage by the fine folks at Rebound Repairs (Formerly Shake Shop), Chicago. Biased to about 50% for tube longevity since this amp runs quite a high plate voltage and the effect on tone was minimal, ensuring that the set of tubes in here rock for longer.
Fuse values are different at 120v so use only what is currently installed.
Having a variac like the AmpRX Brown Box or similar that allows you to downvolt to 110v is ideal for this amplifier but not necessary since it was biased a bit colder, use standard judgement required for vintage tube amp operation.
Tone-wise this is Sabbath through and through, this was that amp for that record. Treble Booster and jumping the channels was, without a doubt, instant Iommi.
