This Rickenbacker 360/6 SPC Tuxedo was produced in 1987. It is number 6 in a production run of 30 instruments and includes the signed Certificate of Authenticity and Origin. The guitar is completely functional. I have owned the guitar since July of 1998. It has rarely been out of my smoke free home. Guitar has original case which is in like new condition.  As you might imagine, these are very rare and don’t often show up for sale.

·It was a special edition guitar known for its striking black and white color scheme. NOTE – the clear coat on white guitars from this era tends to yellow over time, making bright white examples rare.

·Pickups: It is equipped with Rickenbacker’s signature high gain single-coil pickups, known for their bright and clear tone, making them popular for genres like rock, jangle pop, and alternative.

·Controls: The standard configuration includes a two-volume and two-tone control setup, allowing for a wide range of tonal options.  A 5th knob can be used to fine tune the tonal quality, adding depth and richness to the sound. 

·Bridge: The Rickenbacker 6-Saddle Black Bridge with Black R-Logo Tailpiece provides stability and sustain, which enhances the overall sound quality.
