Personal Thoughts:
Fiesta Red on a slab-board ’60 Strat is one of the great combinations.
This is a proper early pre-CBS spec — alder body, rosewood slab board, small headstock — but finished in that slightly faded Aged Fiesta Red that just screams vintage stage guitar.
The Journeyman relic is tasteful. It gives you the feel of a well-looked-after 60s Strat rather than something dragged behind a van. Subtle checking, light wear, comfortable neck — exactly what most players actually want.
The ’60 Style Oval C carve is a brilliant all-rounder. Not too chunky, not too slim. Paired with the 9.5" radius and 6150 medium jumbo frets, it bends easily and feels modern under the fingers without losing that vintage vibe.
Hand-wound ’60s pickups keep things classic — glassy top end, woody mids and that unmistakable Strat “air” in positions 2 and 4. Clean, articulate and dynamic.

Mint condition. Factory Journeyman Relic from Fender Custom Shop. No additional wear beyond intended ageing. Frets are excellent, neck is straight and electronics function perfectly.
